Oscar Hernández - In Retrospect
There are many that get to be of old age and still have no idea of what they want to do with their lives. Not Oscar Hernandez, from an early age he knew what he liked and just did it. With a little help from his friends he starts his musical journey to be where he is today. Listen to the CDs from “Grupo Folklorico y Experimental” or “Spanish Harlem Orchestra” and feel the piano of Oscar driving these powerhouse groups.
Oscar Hernández, speaks candidly about his career, and shares some insight into his life in music.
A outstanding musician who has honed his craft to become leader of one of the most exciting group in latin music today the “Spanish Harlem Orchestra”.
A true professional, and an outstanding individual, which is why it was not a surprise when he was asked by Paul Simon to be musical director to “The CAPEMAN”.
After all these years of providing us with musical enjoyment, we simply say
“Gracia Por La Musica”
